Unable to connect Lenovo laptop to Epson printer

I have been trying to connect my yoga 300 series.
I don’t have the connection cable but have set it up using wi fi. The old CD-ROM I cannot use so have downloaded some drivers. I’m not sure if I have everything i need. Now just keep getting ‘printer error and the message below. I am using Windows 10 64 bit. The Epson site doesn’t seem to be helping me. Can anyone suggest something?? The printer is Sx435w.

Do one of the following
The product is connected to epson07c68f (Epson sx430) . Print using this product. Connect the product to the computer and turn power on.

Many thanks
