Went to Boa Vista and enjoyed it but certainly not the most amazing holiday. It really is great for a restful holiday, an alternative to Caribbeans closer to home with no jetlag if beach, hotel and heat is all that is sought. Saying that, we did two excursions and really enjoyed it, but a few hours each was enough.

I thought it was a good place to go when the kids were little. I certainly wouldn't go with just OH as we love to explore and what there is to offer there isn't worth the cost for that purpose.
