    Eastern England.

So somewhere between Berwick-upon-Tweed and Dover then?

Should be easy for someone to find your nearest campsite. :D

Just seen before Countryfile, the BBC intro ( different groups of people). This time they were Wild campers in Glencoe.
Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.

Such a shame you wouldn't consider Scotland, so many amazing "wild" campsites up here and we don't have the same trespassing laws as England.

My boys and I love camping, there's nothing better than getting away from it all. We are not far from a Dark Sky area, we light a campfire and watch the stars before bed! I cant wait for the good weather to come around again till we get away for some more adventures.

I would, but it's a bit far for a taster trip, that's all.

    Plus I hate midges...:D

There are many, many small sites - I have camped on farms with only me in a field with an toilet and sink in the farmyard........... if you are taking small children then totally wild camping is a challenge, no running water, no toilet, have to carry everything in and out..

You can camp legally, taking your car, and still have a really really excellent experience. I like the look of this one:
