How do I and How Late can I change the Category of an Item that is Listed

How can I edit the category in which an item has been placed and with 7 hours to go is it too late. Would it be advisable to re-list it?

Edits can only be made if there is more than 12 hours and no bids on the item.
Otherwise, you could click the revise your item link at the top of the listing, and when the page opens, at the very top is a small link to change the category.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0
