Bought a house with artex ceilings - existing holes (asbestos?)

Hi, as per the title I bought a house three months ago that was built on 1960 and has artex ceilings. I've noticed that in the main bedroom there are small holes that have been there for at least 6 months as we saw them when we first visited the house. One about the size of 2p piece and the other few smaller than that.

The previous owners told us this was done when the new boiler was installed and some pipes had to be moved.

My question is what should I do with the holes for now. The idea is we'd get the ceilings skimmed at some point but I've been reading up about asbestos in artex ceilings and I'm concerned about leaving small holes and the dust/particles they could expose us to.

Is there a big risk to us leaving the holes and more importantly have we already been exposed to asbestos because of these small holes being there? It says online there's a risk when ceilings are disturbed but does that count if the ceiling was disturbed months ago before we moved in and holes were left?

If you are concerned then paint the holes with PVA glue to seal
