In the thread that is linked on the first post of this one, it says that the text messages don't work in the UK, is that no longer the case? If I get the chance I will just ask them to text it then if it works, as that would be much easier. Thank you

Perhaps I should re-read the thread?

Did mine by text recently and it worked, almost instantly and fuss free.

PS: It did occur to me wonder why everyone was using postcards, but I thought 'I'm sure they've got a good reason.' !!!

I've messaged hiddenshadow to suggest that the Reference Thread wording should be changed re mobile phone verification instead of postcard.

If anyone tries it and it works, or doesn't, please post it on here.
