    There is the MSE list

    https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/family/make-money-surveys/

From their list I like Populuslive which pays £1 per 5 mins, some of them are long enough for £4 each and it does not take many of those to reach the £50 payout.

Onepoll which are usually very short and pay 10 to 20p, ongoing payment threshold is now £25 not £40

Pinecone pays £3 a time (£4 if you joined long ago) and sometimes have product tests for even more.

I do not mind YouGov and they certainly offer me more than the 1 survey a month mentioned in the guide

I dabble with some of the other sites on the list but have not bothered much with them for some while

There are 2 invitation only ones not on the MSE list that I have probably belonged to for over 15 years and together pay up to around £250 a year.

(Election time can be good for surveys and because they often want quick responses some of the sites reward more than usual - brexit was good for that as well)

Prolific Academy is great. You do have to keep the tab open everyday and refresh it a lot in order to get a survey and you have to be quick as limited spaces. Payment can be as little as 50p to £4, just depends on how long the survey is normally. I usually go for the shorter surveys and the payments from a 4 month period has mounted to £76 for me currently, (£90 overall). So it adds up. Also no fuss with vouchers, it pays directly to your Paypal account after a period.

I`ve heard Qmee`s surveys are picking up lately, used to be really dire. I only use it for searching the web though so :/. Payments are at least 50p, no more.
2017 Wins - Coco Pops, £100 Amazon voucher, Elf T-shirt, £250 Zalando Voucher and £250 FeelUnique Voucher, private gig concerts
2018 Wins - Steep xbox game, 2 tangle teezer, Contagion Book, JC Annual, water sports bottle, 10p, 2 cricket tickets, can of fizz, 10p, Ribenia, Johnson baby products

So which are the best survey sites mjm? I do not mind surveys but Swagbucks definitely pay low for the time invested.

The following work for me one way or the other, some are in the MSE list:

OnePoll - Short surveys, pay cash - cash-out at £25

Ipsos i-Say - Time consuming but builds with loyalty bonuses, once they know you you may get invited to participate in annual studies (pays about £60 for loading an app onto phone completing a survey and keeping a diary for a week). Links with in-Compass, pays £10 per month for keeping an app on mobile phone.

Crowdology - Linked to Cint, slow building but I could possibly do more as I access through SB, could possibly ditch SB to get more from this one as there's duplication.

e-Rewards - Seems to be invitation only, I get £27.50 per month in Nectar points as regular as clockwork. The company seems to post on Peanut Labs (the 29 SB surveys). I always check e-rewards first as payments are much(!) higher than SB.

Figure Eight (formerly Crowdflower) - This is pure crowd working pays cash ($), some like it some don't, not as good as it was but hit the right level and pick the right tasks it can be worthwhile, it can also be really frustrating though as some tasks are judged and the test questions can feel really unjust! It's also easy to get sucked into a lengthy exercise for relatively little! Handy if you buy things in US $ - i.e. better than converting from sterling.

Jupiter - generally TV related surveys, pays Amazon voucher automatically when points hit £5, can be quite interesting as some surveys involve watching episodes of new TV programmes - worth participating for the interest.

YouGov - High payment threshold (£50), short surveys but not many of them. You will be contributing to the sort of studies that end up being talked about in newspaper articles. The company does election polling so things can hot up at election times.

As someone who uses Swagbucks almost entirely passively, via the mobile apps; I would like to join the chorus of discontent to echo how awful it is that Swagbucks have reduced the mobile apps points limit.

I'm also now considering whether it's worth it.

I suspect it is users like you that they want to stop. They're not really making any money from you if you're only using the apps (except when they have ads on the videos, which is rare on my apps). They're making more from people who do the surveys and the offers.
(I'm not saying that they pay well for these either!)

    Step 1 = 3 SB

    Step 2 = 9 SB

Opportunities are very sparse today! My first Daily Goal is 85 SB, will get it as I hit a 42 SB PL survey.

The swag up rebate from the team challenge expires on 6th August 7:59 am BST, so that should be enough time to earn enough SB's for a reward.

To me it is well worth visiting other sites, which I admit I had cut down on since using swagbucks as it is so easy to get sucked in for something that is perhaps worth less than one penny up to maybe three pence.
Even doing less on other sites over the last 28 months I have got from Swagbucks £1150, other survey sites £1527 and other internet activities £2340 - If I used swagbucks for all the possible surveys I might kiss goodbye to most of the £1527 and replace it with a swagbucks payment of perhaps £150

I do visit some other sites too when I receive an email stating there is a survey but I can't be bothered with ones I have to check myself as it all becomes too much. As well as SB I am part of Jupiter and I really enjoy that one as the videos can be interesting. I am also part of Pinecone and get £3 for each survey which I think appears once every 2 weeks. I was also part of a Nestle forum for a few months where I got over £70 for doing a couple of activities every so often. I used to be asked to complete a one week diary for incompass for £5 each time (I didn't want to download the app) but I missed 2 in a row and I've never been invited to do it since. I'm a bit gutted about that as it was quick and easy but there was just too much to do each day so it's probably for the best.
MFW - OP 10% each year to clear mortgage in 10 years!

    2022: £10,626.55/£10,626.55

    2024: mortgage neutral!

If they had a regular amount of surveys then most people wouldn't need to do the apps. I only use the apps when I can't make my daily goal because of no surveys. :(
