It's closed and the winner announced, you needed to enter it in the first few days of the SWAGO being live.

    (closed on 08/01)

Typical I have missed out on this one as well - need either this square or the Swago button code square for 50sb. Was not wanting to enter this unless I needed to which was why I didnt enter before hand.

I wonder if it is just me but I have not been able to conduct a search either last night or this morning. On Chrome when I enter a search the result page comes up blank saying that my firewall or anti virus may have blocked the connection, while on Firefox it states that they are unable to connect "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at uk.search.yahoo.com." I even tried an incognito tab in Chrome with the same result.

Wow, that's really out of order! I think it's bad enough that they now require entry into a competition, to win a competition. But, fancy running a competition with a closing date before the other one. I think there'd be rules against that in the UK.

I feel like the swagos with referral requirements are just rewarding the 'influencers' that swagbucks have who write on their blogs etc even more and forgetting the standard user further, no offence to those who are fluencers as I know there are some on here but they just seem to be limiting and demotivating standard users more and more which has the opposite effect of getting them more users through positive word of mouth.
I don't really bother anymore, I just do what I can easily manage each day as the extra cash is handy but the earning levels are continually heading downward year on year.

I don't think they favour influencers, but this is a consequence of trying to enlarge a business before you have customers. Therefore, they have to diminish the returns to users in order to be able to pay out for all the new ones. It's called speculation.

Also, I believe their new CEO is trying to see how far they can push desperate people under their current business model. After all, really the only people who would ever use Swagbucks (or most online earning opportunities) are those desperate to earn extra cash and put in an awful lot of effort to do so. They know they have a captive market, mostly of people who probably can't work elsewhere i.e. sick/ disabled, stay-at-home parents etc. Whilst the Government refuses to regulate this industry, we will lose out consistently over time.

Just sat here patiently clicking 'refresh' every 5 mins or so and eventually I got a survey on tinned soups that got me over the line! Phew!

I had an iOS update of software on my iPhone and it's miraculously fixed all the apps! So, I scraped target before midnight.

In other words they are parasites who take advantage of those who can least afford to be taken advantage of...... Nothing new there then!

I believe some of the referrals are not heard from again after the swago;)

:doh:Can you hear the sound of pennies dropping??
  • Just cycled through 6 ads on engageme - and it showed as such - but it didn't credit on SB. So no idea where to get a Discovery credit today. Sigh.
