Sugar baby, do you think or would it be possible to add in how you make some of the savings such as the Somnium show?

Well done on th 10.00 roadkill, mine for the year is about 60p!
Yes I'm bugslet, I lost my original log in details and old e-mail address.

    Hello Bugslett,

I get all of my cut price theatre tickets and free theatre, event and cinema preview tickets from an organisation that I have been a member of for a number of years. :D Members are not allowed to advertise the organisation as membership is closed.

I am a member of both The Old Vic and The Young Vic and by being a member, I get email alerts for cut price tickets. I have taken advantage of these tickets in the past which have been really good prices for shows I had wanted to see. :D

I watched so many people walk past that £10 before I got near enough to pick it up. :D Even my son who was walking out of Euston station by my side had not noticed it. I have realised that this year I am lucky if I find the odd 1p or 2p. I am not sure if people are retrieving money that they drop or are just being far more careful and not dropping even small coins but roadkill is hard to find this year so far. :(

    Thanks sugarbaby.

I think it is that people carry less cash generally. I was speaking with a charity collector and they said they get less because so many people use contactless all the time.

That is a real shame about charity collections. I deal mostly in cash as I find it easy to keep track of my spending. Of course I do a lot of shopping online with eBay and not only does it mean I get the items I want at bargain prices, I get cashback through my Quidco account and points through my Nectar card on each eBay purchase. :D
