I tried to say much the same Mr Costcutter last night but my phone didn't feel like MSEing.
If sugarbaby finds it motivates her to keep on track, as do many people over on the debtfree diary board, then good for her. As I said a few posts back, it's impressive and I for one have taken on board some of her tips.
You carry on sugarbaby, take no notice of the pointless HMRC100:(0 -

Thank you for your opinion. You are welcome to your own point of view.
Thank you bugslet and Mr costcutter for your support of my Money Saving efforts
I have recently been diagnosed with 3 types of Arthritis this year and I am currently unable to work and have a disposable income of ESA of £73.10 a week. I do receive Housing Benefit but have to pay £16 of my rent each week myself. I do receive Council Tax Benefit but I have to pay £15 of a Council Tax each week.
I am very, very fortunate that my 26 year old daughter agreed to pay all of the monthly bills each month from her wages even though she does not have a permanent contract of employment.:T
No one should ever take their current income for granted, as none of us know what the future holds and their are times in our lives when we will end up with a drastically reduced income through no fault of our own.0 -
sugarbaby125, I really admire your sense of determination to make the best of the situation you now find yourself in. I often check-in to see how you are doing and am always amazed at your savings
Sorry to hear about your arthritis. Mum suffers in the same way and so I know it can be really painful and quite disabling too. Had you thought about making an application for PIP? as you may well be entitled to extra income which would make life more comfortable for you.
Your daughter sounds so lovelyx

There is no need to belittle or deride others efforts, if you don't like what you read - move on there is no one forcing anyone to read threads.
Sorry to hear your diagnosis, do look to get some support with a PIP application the form is difficult you must be honest not only with the answers but with your self. Few like admitting how difficult things are to do that they can sometimes do or used to do with ease.
Good on your daughter for helping out.CRV1963- Light bulb moment Sept 15- Planning the great escape- aka retirement!0
