The PPI Team

I had a terrible experience with this company that I wanted to share so that people can be wary.
I received a call from the team, I immediately and politely asked to be removed from the database (as per Data Protection Laws) the call handler replied "No, you can't just expect to ask to removed and I'll just hang up" I then tried to inform him of the law at which point he talked over me. We both talked over each other for about 60 seconds before he asked if I live at a postcode. I have recently moved so I said no and asked him to guess my new address. This turned into a game of hangman that he didn't play and continued just shouting the postcode on the system at me.
I said he might be a bit stupid as he has asked the same postcode 6 times now and that it may be why he is in a call center to which he replied that he earns more in one day than I do in a month and that I was a f'ing idiot.
At this point I gave up and muted the conversation. I could hear him in the background obviously believing I couldn't hear him being extremely abusive. Calling me a C**t, saying I was an idiot etc. It was very obvious that he was discussing this and joking with the team mates that were sat in his area.
Usually if it was a rogue call handler I would have left it but they way the jokes were carrying on the background this attitude is obviously something that is institutional in the company.
I called up PPI Team to manually remove myself from the database, they even didn't do that properly. I also asked for the data trail that was not offered up easily and I had to call back after the 48 hour legal time frame to get those details too.
I'm no in my 4th week trying to chase this and am getting towards the end of my patience.
