Pcn for a different car

Hi sorry, read the Newbie thread but a little confused....looking at the various templates

I've recieved a pcn from Euro Car Parks for a car that is not mine. This car identified by anpr entered Leicester but is a different lettering to my own ( A smudgy Y instead of a V and thr rest of the lettering/numbering is different). Added to the fact I have never been to Leicester and was parked by my offices in Cardiff- with a ticket to prove it. I've seen the template offered to BPA residents but wondering if this is the right one to appeal against?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Don't rush to appeal, instead rush to drop them in it for misappropriation of your data from the DVLA, a serious matter.

    Email:

  • Thanks coupon-mad. Is there a form of wording etc I should use in writing to him? Euro parks have given me until 5 Jan to pay 40 after which it goes to 70. Now no way am I going to do that but I thought if I appealed by that time then it would be cheaper if my appeal got rejected.

Idont havevideo footage of me parking outside my works office in Cardiff but the ticket I bought does have my actual car reg on it....and as I say is different in style and format (mine has the garafes logo I bought it from on front and back) as well as the last letter

Forget the first 14 day 'discount' drivel threat! You have 28 days not 14; you won't be paying anything.

So, just email Mr Dunford and attach a scan or photo of the offending PCN and use the form of words you used to explain it to us, and copy in Steve Clark of the BPA:

    steve.c@britishparking.co.uk

Put the PCN number and 'Euro Car Parks: formal complaint for breach of the BPA code and misuse of DVLA data'.

Yes they both take these complaints seriously. Not 'he'. BOTH.

They always replied to me when I used to email the odd time or fifty!

It doesn’t read that way to me!

!!!!!! - you have a cast-iron case, you shouldn’t be looking for any form of cheap way out of this, you should be going for the jugular and cashing in on the PPC’s misappropriation of your data. David Dunford of the DVLA is your man!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Yes, if you don't get a resolution, but I reckon the DVLA or BPA will sort this out sooner.

Email them together, they are used to it!
