How long does it take for a bus lane PCN to arrive?

I drove in a bus lane on 26 December (I was in one for a few minutes before I thought that the bus restrictions might still apply on bank holidays). How long will it take for the PCN to arrive?

If relevant, it was in either London Southwark, Lambeth, or Wandsworth - not sure exactly at which point on my journey I was in the lane.

I’m going away for a few weeks from Friday and I’m a bit concerned that if it arrives just after I leave, the 14 day reduced penalty period will expire while I’m away.

Bus lane restrictions in London do still apply on bank holidays and many are enforced by cameras. The limit is 14 days from the date of the offence for the Notice to Keeper to be received. So the 9th. January would be the deadline.

Yes, that’s what I found out when I checked later. Based on how many cars were in the bus lane, I think there will be a few tickets on the way unfortunately.

If it arrives late, there’s a big article in the sub section of this forum specially for rejecting PCN tickets, I had one not for a bus lane though, and rejected it successfully
