Kitchen ceiling light

Ceiling light stopped working. Replaced the bulbs twice and comes on once or twice then stops working again. Replaced the whole light. Again worked fine then stopped. All fuse box switches are ok and no other lights are effected. If I switch the fuse switch off then on again it starts working again. Very puzzled and any help would be appreciated.
