According to Wikipedia (not always correct, I know!) the female form of Sultan is indeed a Sultana...0

You think that's a lot? Look at the list offered by BA's Executive Club... :-)0

They got the cue from Brunei (a sultanate), where it is a popular bank.0

I notice there is Earl, but no Countess? Interesting to note that apparently the English stopped using the term Count as it was considered to sound far too similar to a term of abuse...A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.
A young loner on a crusade to champion the cause of the innocent,
the helpless, the powerless, in a world of criminals who operate above the law.0 -
i was at vision express and was supprised/shocked when they had princess in the drop down menu for the title field...i said "how many times does that get used".
The BA list is rather impressive but most of that is to cater for worlwide titles.0 -
I work with a Sultana actually, but it's a first name not a title...0

the BA list is amazing! Most drop down lists these days don't even have a Miss.... its just 'new fashioned' Ms. which I really hate and think is P.C mad and it really gets my goat (or my sultana).

I used to work for a major holiday company where we had a similar drop-down list, which someone on work experience had copied from Debretts or suchlike. Consequently we had an option for "His Holiness the Pope". Unfortunately, he had then gone through and added "... and Mrs" as a further option for each title. So we had the option of "His Holiness the Pope and Mrs." Sadly, the Holy Father and his wife always booked elsewhere.0

This is not that surprising when you consider that Prince Charles is a major Citigroup shareholder (http://finance.yahoo.com/q/mh?s=C).
But I agree, the BA list is impressive.0
