I am new to 3d printing having only recieved it for christmas. The filament is jammed somewhere in the extruder of my Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus. I have tried removing it with the included hook but was unsuccessful. Is there anything else I should try before I before I dismantle the extruder, which I very much want to avoid. I would be grateful for ant help and suggestions! xx

Heat it upto 250 degrees before trying to unblock it.
heat it to 220 and try feeding some PLA through it (gently) feed directly not through a bowden tube etc.
If 220 is not enough to get it oozing out then up it to 230, but give it a good 10 minutes at 220 first.
Increase to 240 and even 250 if you must.
Just a thought have you unscrewed the nozzle? Does it have a Teflon liner?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
