is it possible to renew provisional licence and change my photo?

i need to renew my provisional licence, but i have an old photo on the licence which is a younger me. is it possible to renew my licence as well as updating my photo?

What is it you need to renew?
Your licence is valid until your 70th birthday, only the photo expires after 10 years.
So the answer to what I think you’re asking is yes.0 -
You say 'renew' so I assume you have had it for around 10 years.
If you have a UK passport that has a more recent photo then they can simply use that photo on any online driving license renewal application (full or provisional) which means you don't have to send off a new pic - the gov.uk website claims that you will receive your renewal license in one week.
According to this site here https://www.gov.uk/driving-licence-fees
Its £14 to renew online (using existing passport photo) or £17 to apply by post including sending a new photo (take up to 3 weeks)
