As suggested - speak to the coroners office for a better explanation.

What does it say about the cause on the death certificate ?
  • The main thing to ask yourself is, why would the coroner lie?

It is only natural to question what has happened but as Red-Squirrel says, the Coroner has the specific role of establishing the truth. They are representing the deceased and their nearest and dearest.

If any foul-play or negligence was remotely considered, they would have to act immediately, and the next of kin would be informed.

I do hope the awful thoughts can be put aside, and those who are able to can mourn the deceased.

Death certificate says cancer. It has been over two months since he passed away and it is time to let it be. It is distressing that your loved one was found death on the floor. There were some issues which the hospice acknowledged and will be dealt with. Thanks everybody for your input.
