Quotemehappy problems

My daughter had a car crash on the 2nd of December, she wasn't at fault the other driver is being charged by the police, her car is a write off.
Since then she has had nothing but problems with her insurer Quotemehappy, they have only just returned her belongings from the car, some are missing, some are damaged, such as the dog car hammock, which instead of undoing the velcro they ripped it off, a mobile phone is missing and various other items.
She has called them daily to try and find out what is happening and is just fobbed off and basically lied to, she has opened at least four complaints, the first as they left her stranded in hospital at 4 am in the morning saying their systems were down, the latest about being left completely in the dark over the whereabouts of her belongings and not being called back when they say they will. We have exhausted all avenues with these people where do we go from here?

When you raise complaints against insurers and they ignore them the avenue isn't "exhausted"
Your next step after getting their response (or they ignore the complaint for 8 weeks) is to escalate to the FOS for their adjudication (at no cost to you)
So escalate all the complaints (separately).0 -
You have to make the complaint to insurer firstly. If they don't follow their own set complaints procedure (which you should find on your documents) you can then escalate it to the FOS as above.0
