I have a holiday booked in April which I cannot go anymore - illness. Am I allowed to sell to someone else? If so, how would I do it? TC wont give me a full refund so trying to work out options....

Thanks

You'd ask them if it's possible, and the costs, of changing the name on the booking.

As above, insurance will sort you here - but you must have held it before you were diagnosed. If you didn't take out insurance with the holiday, do you perhaps have a policy provided by your bank account or in connection with another insurance policy (e.g. direct line like to bundle holiday insurance with home insurance).

If all else fails, you can pay for a name change - but that is also expensive (to stop companies buying up cheap holidays and selling them on for a profit, just like ticket touts do with concerts).

Not necessarily, many airlines won't allow you to change the passenger on a ticket.

Illness causing inability to travel - that's exactly what travel insurance is for (assuming all pre-exisiting conditions have been declared).
