Drive my campervan to Scotland?

Hello All!
I’m planning a holiday in Scotland but can’t face the idea of driving my family 800 miles in my campervan.
Does anyone know of a long distance ‘drive my vehicle’ service, like those coast to coast services they have in America? That way we can take the train and pick up our van in Scotland.
Someone gets a free London to Scotland journey in my van, I arrive without having driven for 12 hours in a van full of screaming kids. Win, win!:T

Send the kids to Scotland on the train and drive the van up there yourself, in peace.0

12 hrs?
As someone who had never before driven on a real motorway ( we only have two lanes here) and took 15 min stops every hour even I managed it in 7 hrs0 -
800 miles in seven hours in a camper van...really?
In fact, 800 miles in 12 hours seems pretty unlikely. If the OP is really 800 miles away from where they want to be the sensible answer would be to stop halfway, given that they are travelling with their accommodation. Northumbria, the Lake District or the Borders would all offer good options.0 -
I'm intrigued that Scotland is abroad too ('though I know that Nicola would rather be in Europe!!)
I'd be allowing a lot more than 12 hours for 800 miles. Depending on the time of day, the road etc- it took me 8 hours (including stops) to do about 200 miles last week! admittedly Uncle Tom cobbley, One man & his dog and everyone in Christendom was on the road.
There used to be a service where you could put yourselves & your car on the overnight? train. I guess that service has long gone.
You have your own accommodation , so why not make the journey part of the holiday?Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

Where in Scotland do you want to start and where in London is the van?
Offer withdrawn due to lack of interest0 -

I am not sure what camper van you have, but London to John O'Groats is only 686 miles so at worse case that trip would only be 12 hours at around 55-60 miles per hour.
We have a Swift Motorhome and did Milton Keynes to Moffat in 5 hours, with an overnight stay there before exploring to our final destinations.
Admittedly we both drive the van, so is that an option.0 -
