i need to travel up to edinburgh this sat, and was going to drive. however, i have found some cheap(ish) train tickets online. trouble is, i dont have a credit card, and cant find any info about where to buy these tickets in person. is it poss to go to a local train station (not on the mainline) and buy tickets for travel on a main route? hope that makes sense!

Yes, although they may not be able to match the price, especially if you buy it on the day of travel0
