Privilege car insurance

Hello there
I just miss my renewal day and i wanted to change my company because privilege offers me a expensive renewal quote. So is was due today 2 of january and they already charged on my account . They have a cancellation fee of £53. If i call them tomorrow and try to cancel my policy ( i had been with them 3 years) they will charge me this £53 only for 1 day? Is okay if i vancel this policy and then straight away have another with diferent company? Will they give me this no claims discount paper? Sorry for all this questions and thanks on advance.

1) You won't be allowed to leave without paying the cancellation fee unless you are able to get a goodwill gesture off them


2) You can cancel and go elsewhere


3) Your renewal notice should suffice as NCD proof
