Okay I’m probably going to get shouted at here but I just got another letter, and from what I’ve read in this thread by Redx is to not ignore a letter with a courts claim. Well this letter is is from ‘CSB Solicitors’ who indeed mention the possibility of court lol. I didn’t think Solicitors got involved this fast I thought I was expected a few more letter from UCS with further scare tactics?0

It’s a bit pointless sending you letters if they didn’t scare you.0

yes but which court? , in a lot of cases solisitors send letters for as little as £5 , and often sell pads with there names on to be used to frighten people
one would question if a company were geared up or had the ability to act in a court in NI , the costs to do this would exceed any small claims costsSave a Rachael

They just state that their clinet may instruct us to take legal action against you in the District Court. No mention of which court or anything.
Yeah I would question it too but I’m just checking, I’m so new to this lol0 -

I meant a letter that WAS a court claim
the standard rules for england and wales is to respond to a formal LBC , and to respond to an MCOL which is a court claim for england and wales
I never said what the procedure was for NI because I and most people on here are not familiar with it
we know that the sheriffs get involved with court claims in Scotland
treat these solicitor letters as scare tactics only
if you get an ACTUAL court claim from whatever system they use in NI , then respond
you will have to find out how this is done in NI , dont expect us to know , you have your own laws and procedures so look them up and tell US how it works over there, seeing as you have plenty of time to do the research about court claims
so I didnt mean a letter that "claims" to wish to go to court , I meant an ACTUAL court claim , by whatever means NI uses0
