Thanks madvix - not a wonderful sleep, actually, no time outside because of Dennis, and my evening eating was slightly lopsided, savoury but lopsided. Good enough, though! We had a deluge as I got up, but its blue skies here too, and I **will** shut the laptop down at 9.30 to get to the walk on time, give myself a chance to chat with the ladies, which is part of the reason for doing it, after all. After that, its finishing the French accounts, no ifs, buts or maybes.

Pardon my ignorance but what's the alternative to a 'healthy' walk?
I hope you don't mind a stranger posting on your diary and asking stupid questions. I'm still new to the MSE forums and have been enjoying skipping around the various diaries but I've only been reading the ones with fascinating usernames (like yours, I love it!) or really gripping titles.

Hello, Delichon! Thanks for posting - all newbies welcome, especially here
Thanks for the comment on my user name, I like it too.
Healthy walk is actually the name of the council-run programme of events - they publicise it on their website, provide insurance, subsidy for the equipment of the leader (which is basically a clipboard and a hi vis jacket at my level, but still).
I guess an unhealthy walk might be around Leicester Square at three o clock in the morningbut I'm in quiet foothpaths around a village
Right, its 0934, I'm gone - have a good morning, all!

Hope you don't get too blown about by the wind and enjoy the walk and the company.

A healthy walk sounds lovely but I'm not sure about it in this weather.
It was bright blue skies here about half an hour ago but the weather seems to have changed its tune. The sky has gone very grey and the winds are picking up again so I don't think I will be venturing out of the office for a walk at lunch time.
Enjoy but don't get blown away!!

Thanks both! I was lucky, it clouded over but no rain. Fairly windy, but nothing like it has been, and I managed a chat with my lovely neighbour, so that was good. Curled up in the warm now, its really quite chilly out there.

I can confirm that having just walked though said same place to pick up some lunch, that it is currently gloriously sunny if a bit brisk - fresh air in the middle of the day is a great thing though! - very 'healthy'4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!!
