Cluncard Credit Card vs. Barclaycard Freedom Rewards

Had a Tesco Clubcard Credit Card for ages and now I'm thinking the Barclaycard Freedom Rewards card might actually work out to more money back in terms of vouchers etc. Am I wrong? What in your opinion is the better of the two?

1 freedom point is worth .29 of a penny, you earn one for each £ spent.

1 clubcard point is worth 1p at Tesco, but you should be able to easily get 2 or 3p per point in value by using your points towards other rewards. You earn one point for every £8 spent.

So at face value alone, Barclaycard is better. Also, for any transactions under £8 Barclaycard always wins (as Tesco will give you nothing).

The ASDA card is much better than either.

It appears once you've accrued enough points there are several places you can use the vouchers you've converted into.

If you shop at Tesco regularly don't forget you can boost your vouchers up to four times their value:

As WillPS points out Tesco won't give you Clubcard points when you spend less than £8/transaction outside of their stores.
