I decided that it was time for a new diary to go with the New Year, and also the fact that the old diary title isn't appropriate anymore. So hello shiny new diary!!
I have been MIA for a while so if you are coming over from my old diary, thank you for helping me through the last two emotional years. If you're new to my diary, I need regular kicks up the backside :rotfl:
My DD started her apprenticeship last year so is no longer money dependant on me and is also now paying for her own phone :j We are both still living with my mum and although sometimes its quite hard, it is helping me on my financial journey. It also helps my mum out too money wise. I can't believe that I am coming back slightly more in debt but I plan to have half of it cleared this year and then the rest the following year which will mean I will be debt free by the time I am 50 in 2021:eek:
So, the total amount of debt I am in is £16,591.17. Some of these are small amounts which I am hoping to clear in the next couple of months. Unfortunately I had a lovely letter before Christmas to say I had received an overpayment in my tax credits so that is why it is higher again. But, only one of these has interest on it.
I am also still bullet journaling so I am feeling super organised for this year. I have all my goals set and the biggest one for this year is to try and have as many NSD's as possible. Another important goal this year is to finish setting up an online business that I have been researching for quite a number of months.
I hope each and every one of you have a lovely 2018
Take care.

Another NSD today. A direct debit came out but I'm not counting budgeted money.
I did forget to add my savings in my signature but I can't see that going up too quickly until the middle of the year. I want an emergency fund of £1000.
Took my lunch to work today and resisted the vending machine so that helps with the no spends and the weight loss.

Hi Bellevie. Thanks for coming over. I must admit it's really hard letting go though but I know she's sensible. She's already saving so I'm a proud mum.
