So far £2.01 in Tesco on cream crackers and philadelphia. My lunch for about a week, so not too bad.

Doing a mystery shop for dinner, but the joint account will pay that until it gets paid back.

Hopefully that's it, although might buy one drink in the pub once mystery shop over.

Blimey everyone's on here early. Hopefully a NSD for me, although the fact that Wispas are on sale again seems to be testing my willpower to the limit.....
    Overpay!
  • A bit disappointing so far - I intended to spend £2 at sainsbury's and then £10 on petrol tonight.

Have spent £3.02 at Sainsbury's. Still on target for my weekly total, though

On the up side, it does leave me 48p to put in my change jar, so it's not all bad :)

  • Hi ,this is my first post here.Taking the boys swimming but we have a card ,which means for £20 a month they get their swimming lessons, unlimited use of the pool and unlimited use of gym, exercise classes.
Has saved me £20 a month as it used to be £40 a month just for 3 sets of lessons.

Back to the point I am planning to spend nothing today.( I hope!)
    £2 saved for every 1lb lost.:D(starting now)
  • I was very much hoping to make today my first NS in ages but I don't think it's going to happen. I have lunch with me (mmm tasty risotto from last night) but I got a call from a friend last night and unbenownst to me until now she has been in hospital with mastitis and also recently had labyrinthitis, her husbands dad has just died in germany and he's got to go to the funeral, a friend of theirs a neighbour is in the last stages of cancer and is expected to die any day now so she is supporting them both and she is looking after 2 kids at the same time (1 baby and a 5 year old). So she wondered if I would go and help her out this weekend (of course I will) but this means that since I wont see them probably after that until after Christmas I ought to sort presents out pronto so I'm going to go and try and do this at lunchtime. I'll report my deplorable expenditure later.

have a good low spend day all :)

Have spent £18.49 on my mobile bill (£17.00 + cost of postal order). Can't set up a Direct Debit as I don't have a bank account.
Barclays won't let me open a basic account until I am earning.

oops...already spent a bit on ebay - £8.70 (inc p&p) for watch with a steam train on it for my dad's christmas hamper and £3.50 on some popcorn boxes for christmas hampers for others - will try to get back this cost though!! :) Need to sell somethings on ebay me thinks.

Also bidding on a couple of rare postcards for the steam train hamper, but they are only a few quid.

Expect to spend a bit today - but all out of budgeted money so hopefully won't be too horrendous! Got to go shopping later as well.
