WMP new cd

Hi My son has put his new Eminem cd on Wmp but WMP hasn't recognised the different songs or the album Name .
The Cd has only been out a few weeks so would this be the reason for it not listing the songs or album name?

I have exactly the same issue with WMP in Windows 10 but resolved it by using Ashampoo free https://www.ashampoo.com/en/usd/pin/7110/burning-software/burning-studio-free to rip cds to my laptop.

Hi - yes the WMP database (FAI) is not being that well updated these days - I just searched it (UK db) with no luck...
What you can do is insert the CD for ripping and before ripping type (next to the album square) Album name ; artist; genre; year... then copy paste the track titles (one at a time but better than typing) from Discogs (you need to highlight and right-click the relevant fields then select 'edit')

Once ripped remove the CD then copy and paste the album art to WMP from Google images (type in 'Eminem Revival') and choose the best looking image above 300 pixels square.
The CD will then be 'remembered' by that PC
