Not stayed at the one in Madison but we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on Fifth Avenue and would recommend it! All staff were friendly and the rooms were clean, beds comfy. It was our anniversary and our room was on the top floor (24th floor I think?!) and it was very quiet for our entire stay. There are only 4-6 rooms on each floor, so never much noise. They also have 2 computers you can use for free with access to the internet (or free wifi in rooms) We checked emails daily and uploaded our photos onto cd. We walked a lot while there, about 5 minutes walk to Times Square, 10 minutes to Central Park.
Can upload some pictures but actually they look very similar to the ones on the holiday inn website!Competition Challenge 2007 - Win your internet fees back in prizes = £349.87/£1560 -
Will be interested in this as well. Managed to get 3 free nights at the HI Madison Sq Garden on priority club points for free, over new year as well. Nice!School is important, but Rugby is importanter.0

Hi, haven't stayed at this hotel, but last year we stayed in the Hotel Pennsylvania which is directly opposite Madison Square gardens, and Bloomingdsales, and very central for Empire State building, Times square etc.... Hotel was excellent and we had a good deal with a free upgrade whilst there. Hope this helps.0
