Energy Suppliers. For the disabled.

Hi and good day to you all, I currently have both my Gas and Electricity from EDF. Being on Disability Living Allowance and Incapacity Benefit I am entitled to a reduce tariff of 15% less than the stadard.
At one point I was able to join Staywarm under the conditions of being disabled and on DLA. Unfortunatly I was scheduled to go on vacation so I forgot to sign up, When I returned I called Staywarm and since they have been taken over be Powergen. They now no longer offer the service to under 60's of any sort.

My question today to you all is, is there any other supplier(s) that offer the same sort of service as Staywarm but available to the under 60's on DLA.

My mum said she knows a friend that changed from Staywarm to this other company. Unfortunatly for me she has forgotten who has told her.

Can anyone guide me in the right direction or know what companies are available.

Many thanks for your time in answering me.

Scott. :rotfl:

On today's Working Lunch they gave a number 0800 336699, I missed the name

Anyway they will advise on other suppliers with a "Social Tariff"
They did say it will be busy as last year the number was swamped

    Good Luck

This link, London is for Ebico, but not the conversation I was trying to find, which was a poster asking a similar question to yours about Southern Electric, who are anyway partnered to Ebico, so probably the same service.
