This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything Old Style and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what Old Style things we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an Old Style natter. The more the merrier!
As this is the Old Style Board, it would be appreciated if posts could include some Old Style content. Please be aware that many people may have small screens, or SLOW internet connections, so please don’t post large pictures, or clip art – links are preferred. When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning

Good morning all,
FBO you and your family remain in my thoughts today
The HT and i would like to wish everyone peace and love for the coming year. The HT was my first footer today - I haven't had one of those for a very long time. I'm going to have a very easy day today as my ribs are aching from coughing. I tidied up yesterday and we had a roast dinner in the evening before visiting friends to play board games and chat for a couple of hours so I'm thinking easy food today and definitely no housework.

Quiet PJ day on the books today with some goal planning ...nothing major as I tend to lose the momentum quite soon after setting but I do have a few in mind for work and for me.
Will be making a couple of portions of turkey and leek pie today one for me and one to take to mum tomorrow. Need to have a root around in the fridge as well to see if i need to make a veg soup. Kitchen will need a scrub down but nothing much more needed housework wise

Good morning and a Happy New Year to all.
Surprisingly I managed to stay awake long enough for the bells and watch the fireworks from Edinburgh. A wee dram of my favourite malt was raised and enjoyed.
After a real duvet day yesterday I’m up and about to do some ‘sorting out’ today. I also want to get out for a walk despite the rain. The sky is very red so I don’t know if that bodes well or not.
