Tax credits renewal?

Hi

Just wondering if anyone could help me

I made my original claim for tax credits in September/October

Will i need to renew this year even though only been claiming for a few months?

Comments

  • Yes you’ll need to renew.
  • What does the renewal process involve? Do you send evidence etc like you do when you originally sign up

The standard renewal will ask you to confirm your income for the previous tax year and if there are any changes in circumstances to report. You can complete the renewal by post, phone or online.

You could however be asked to supply evidence at any time.
