I cannot believe how much stuff I’ve been hoarding! I have chucked 12 things I was never gonna use again. I am now also a pot of glitter down considering that my puppy managed to open and eat it whilst I was counting with my back turned...
I’m looking forward to a pamper night tonight![/QUOTE]
Well done for counting your stash! :j I still need to do this but just cant face it at the minute. I have a lot going on with stress at the moment so trying to ignore my problem of hoarding toiletries but good news is I havent bought anything else this month other than the couple of sets in the 70% off boots sale, which is a massive step for me. I usually would have went mad buying toiletries and makeup in the jan sales but I have really had a wake up call! I have spent maybe only 15-20% of what I would have spent last january on offers so am pleased with that.
Edit- sorry this was ment to be quotingPoppy, not sure what happened there! :eek:0 -
Some UU to report:D
50ml Lotil English Weather Cream 6/6
2ml sample Monsoon ? perfume 7/7
10ml Gatineau Lip Care 8/8
35ml Elemis Frangipani Moisture Melt 9/9
50ml Soltan Once Face spf30 10/10
5ml Lancome Hydra Zen moisturiser 11/11
I have a shower cream and deo that are close to being finished, but think they will hang on for a few days yet. I have decided to TA a nearly full 250 ml BS Camomile eye make up remover, it just doesn't get to grips with my eye liner and water proof mascara, tried for a day or two using it on face pre-cleanse, but just cannot be bothered with is as I have a couple of really good cleansers in use.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. Maddiemay, the L'Occitane eye make up remover I am using is fab. Will need to buy full size soon as I have only had sample sizes so far.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Val - thanks for this, I have a small size of a Lancome for my overnight bag, and my Clinique TTDO balm is great for the moment, but I will finish that soon. Will add the L'Occitane to my wish list:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
UU
The Body Shop Mango Body Butter sample size - I loved the scent of this - really reminded me of summer. WDB full size version but plenty of lotions to use up in stash first.
Boots Extracts Strawberry Body Scrub 400ml - A LHJ as sat in my shower for several months and used on and off with other scrubs. Glad to finish it as I have some lovely new scrubs I haven't had a chance to use yet. Got this for £2.50 on clearance so was good value for money.
Hope to get through a couple more minis before the end of the month.
I've started a spare toiletry bag which I've put a bunch of spare products in for nights away; since I have so many products that there are always some spare. Will save me time on packing whenever I'm going somewhere. No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2019 Total UU since 2016 - 396 | Total February UU - 10 -
Hello all!
I went mad in the Boots 70% off sale and have stocked up on S&G, a lot of people have said they're 'over' S&G on the Boots thread, but I haven't owned any apart from body scrubs really for the past few years (I LOVE their body scrubs!) so actually I was quite happy to stock up from the tonnes left over and pay a lot less than normal!
The sales are really properly over now so I'm knuckling down from here on in! In the next couple of weeks I'm going to go over my spreadsheet and probably give a nice chunk away to my local refuge, I have a lot of stuff I paid less than £2 per item for, so I will see what to donate from that, they win, I win!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

I’ve got my first UU!
This one was the last bit of a Tropics clear skin blemish fighting mask. I absolutely loved it and it has lasted me ages. I’ll definitely be getting some more once I’ve used up all my face masks, although I love the Lush ones too but I think they go off a lot faster.Debt-free wannabe since Jan 2018.

Back from two nights away. Very pleased with myself that I managed to resist the temptation to throw the hotel toiletries in my bag on the way home. Never end up using them and just add to the stash!
No more UU but have quite a few bits that are getting close to the end. Fingers crossed have a few more before the end of the month.0 -
I have the following to report : a sold item, an IN, an order and a maybe order. Settle yourselves down for the justification:-
IN : John Frida conditioner. I cut my current bottle of conditioner open today. I've decided to return to the JF brand not only because I remember it being good but because of the packaging. I like the squeeze tubes. Am finding bottles unwieldy in the shower. I do also like the Kind Natured range from Boots which are in squeeze tubes too but the Boots local to work does not stock it. JF was on offer in Tesco today so bought it in ready.
Sold item : bottle of LE Orange Blossom body wash. Sold via QVSell. Been paid. Need to post tomorrow. Ive only recently finished a 500ml bottle of this and can't face anymore just yet.
An order : Finding a dupe for the Chanel lipgloss was nagging at me. Saw a Laura Geller lipgloss called Melon Infusion on QVC as part of a six part set on clearance. The old me would have ordered this and justified the phenomenal value to myself. Instead I found it on EBay for £3.75. I did also order another from the same seller called Peach Sorbet just in case it's a better dupe for the same price. It's a bit weird that she says they are 9ml full size whereas retailers sell them at a smaller size for about £15. Not sure that they are readily available colours but will cross that bridge when I finish them. My justification here is that I am only spending the money I made on the sold body wash.
Maybe order: Have bid for 2 x 7.5ml bottles of Bare Minerals Skinlongevity Intense Power Serum. Want to try out another sample size to see how my skin gets on with it before buying a full sized. Plus see how long the sample size lasts. Only intend to use it at night under my LE Skin Repair which is not performing as well as the Elemis Oxygenating Night cream. Of course I might not win the bid.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge.
