Park watch fine at Arena Coventry

Happy new yr to everyone.
I have a park watch parking fine from the Arena shopping at Coventry.
It was a Saturday and I was driving the company Mercedes van which is 17ft long and takes up 2 spaces.
As it was so busy I found an unmarked space next to the recycling area, popped in to do a little shopping and when I returned 20 minutes later found the ticket.
The reason was issue 29 not parking wholly within the bays.
I appealed on the basis that there were no bays in that area and with the length of the van it was the only area long enough to park without taking 2 spaces, obviously my appeal was turned down.(I did provide lots of photos)
I have read lots of forums and would have gone down the route of company vehicle not legally obligated to give the drivers name but I have already stated I was the driver.
Any advice??

What a shame you gave away the driver's identity. Never mind, that can't be helped now.
Did you get a PoPLA code? If so you should use it. Construct your appeal using all the points available to you from post 3 of the NEWBIES and post your draft here for the regulars to check before you post it.
Get pictures of the site and signage to show how it is possible for the driver to have missed signs. Broken signs, tiny font, signs hidden behind bushes or high up on poles, and faded ground markings should all be included, taken from a car's passenger seat.I married my cousin. If you read up on this in the Newbies FAQ thread near the top of the forum you will find all advice on dealing with this from issue right through to court action should it come to that
Spend some time understanding the game you are now caught up in and come back if you need further advice0 -
