Hi all.
Need some help. I've put a tv up in a bedroom and will be getting an outdoor aerial.
TV has both RF and Coax plugs
Bit confused on what cable connections I will need to run directly from the TV to to outdoor aerial
Do they come in a kit form for ease?

Thanks as always

The terms RF and Coax are largely interchangeable in this context.

I'm presumimg your TV has connections for a terrestrial aerial lead, which will take a Belling Lee plug, and is what you require for Freeview.
And also for a satellite dish connection, which takes a screw in F-connector plug?

If you are doing the cabling up yourself then a good quality coax cable is what's required.
Satellite cable is usually better quality than that used for terrestrial aerials, but the same cable can be used for both, it's just the connectors that differ.

This is the proposed aerial :

Is this aerial likely to use the F-connector you mention?

So basically I end up with the cable set up to F-connector one end screwed to aerial and male belling plug other end ?

No. Usually at the aerial end you separate the inner and outer wires, and there are simple screw connections in the black housing on the aerial.
The Belling Lee connector is at the TV end.

The F-connector would only be used if you also wanted to use a satellite dish, and connect to the satellite tuner in the TV (presuming it has one).
