Best time to book hotel Dubrovnik

We are going to Dubrovnik first two weeks in August.


Does anyone know when the best time is to book hotel

How long is a piece of string. The only advice I can give is to book when you find a price that is acceptable and then don't look back.

Have you looked at the Cruise Ship schedule for the time you're in Dubrovnik? It's not that big a place, and 3 or 4 thousand passengers off a ship swamp the place. So plan your day trips out of Dubrovnik when ships are alongside.

Don't try and use €uros, Croatian kuna is the currency.

If you want a particular hotel, book early.

I went a few years back - about 6 months before, the hotel I wanted was more than I wanted to pay, so I waited, and the price only went up.

Not that fussy about Hotel, 3 or 4 star & has a pool.

Was reading on Tripadvisor, about best time to book Hotel, listed loads of cities, unfortunately didn't mention Dubrovnik
