Hi
2 full black bags to the cs shop yesterday.
Items that have hung unworn in my wardrobe for 3/4/5 years now.
What on earth was I keeping them for?!
Going to sort out my coat hangers today - some very dodgy wire ones and some with hooks that are straightening and don't hang on the rail. I'll gather up a box for the cs - the sign on the door say they want some.On a mission!

I buy bird seed for garden birds from my local RSPB centre and often get sunflower seeds with husks - empty husks below feeders:cool:
Come to think of it you must be right but I know I definitely read that somewhere. Might see if I can find it.
I know that I also read that we should be careful when buying cheap bird seed especially if it has pink bits in it. Apparently the cheaper bird seed mixes have cheap broken up dog biscuits in them and are used to bulk it out.
More decluttering from me this week.
2 Jam jars that have been sitting on my hobby shelf for years
1 men's old corduroy trousers to clothing bank CB
1 pyjama bottoms to CB
3 men's old shorts to CB
1 new pyjama set eBay
3 new pyjama bottoms EB
1 tube hair conditioner finally used up
1 tiny bottle hair conditioner finally finished
1 flannel to CB
1 Argon oil intense conditioner to neighbour (had 2 of these)
1 new suntan lotion to neighbour
That's all the decluttering I can do for now as have other things that need doing like mucking out our ducks hotel and cleaning the hens hotel too. Also digging over the veg beds and cleaning the greenhouses ready for Spring planting.

Yes,Erin transport. Why do we keep these things for so long.I picked out
5 cards to go to CS and was really annoyed with myself as the prices were on them and came to more than £10.So, now that the cards are all sorted I am going to be more ruthless. Cards are something the French don't do well, but when back inUK I tend to get carried away. so now, as well as having a list of thongs to but in UK I will keep a list of what not to buy.
108 inc those cards.
109another batch of old holiday postcards to CS
110-117 balls of wool from stash to granny quilt for me ( I item -hope this isn't cheating!)
Had a lightbulb moment while looking at wool stash . I will now start granny quilts for my CS to sell.
This will also give me something to do in the winter.
118 dead plant to outside.
119out of date food to bin
120 same thing to bin
121 magazine for friend who helps in my CS.
Thanks for the comments on seeds - of course birds eat flower seeds silly me all plants have flowers and seeds! I will throw at random all out of date seeds into a corner and they can be eaten or grow and I can watch with interest. One thing about sunflower seeds . Here in France we buy them in 5 kilo bags and the birds love them, pecking at them and leaving the husks. Last year we had sixplants among the roses which we left and bluetits came to eat them. Enough of nature, back to decluttering..0 -

Wasn't sure if you knew or not but if you need to edit/alter a post all you need to do is look for the EDIT button which is in blue on the bottom of your post. Click on that and it will bring your post up for you. Do the alteration or add something you have forgotten and then press SAVE and it will be altered. You don't need to make a separate new post for it that way although you can if you want to do it that way.
Hope that is some help to you.
