    A card shop, home-made, moonpig/funkypigeon...
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.
  • Tried local card shops and moonpig not nice enough and unfortunately not very artistic! Wondered if anyone knew of card shops that do them.

  • There are some fantastic card makers on Ebay. Have a browse, if you see one you like they will make it for any occasion. I get all my special cards on there.
  • Do you have any local craft shops or art galleries or what about framing a nice postcard as their card, the problem with birthday, anniversary cards etc is they end up in the recycling or in a box waiting for relatives to clear them out when the time comes!!
The mind is like a parachute. It doesn’t work unless it’s open.:o

A winner listens, a loser just waits until it is their turn to talk:)
  • Have a look on Etsy. Many of them can be personalised too.

Notonthehighstreet have lots of lovely handmade cards.

Or why not make one yourself? Any of your friends that do papercrafting that could lend you some of the tools?

I bought a card from YCC Studio via their ebay shop (currently closed until 1 Jan) for my nan and grandad's Diamond Wedding anniversary and they could customise the name on the card etc. It then turned out that my sister had also separately bought a card from them too. Facebook site here https://www.facebook.com/yccstudioleeds/

I should add I have no connection to the company but just had a good customer experience.
  • Firstly get a telegram from the queen organised!

As for a card, I got this https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/509903068/floral-anniversary-papercut-card?ref=listing-shop-header-1

for our friends’ 30th anniversary - I got the larger size & think it was just the right size

Good shout on the card from the Queen, I'd forgotten about that!
  • Thank you all for your suggestions! The letter from the queen has already been organised and so is everything else, just struggling with the card
