Does all credit card lenders really verify your income when you apply for the card or some lenders do that ?

No, they dont. Its one of the factors they use to determine your credit limit.

However its best not to lie about it, that goes without saying.

Its unlikely they will verify it but if you get caught lying you could be in a hole

Most checks happen post opening if suspicions are araised

Get caught lying your looking at that institution revoking all your accounts and adding a cifas flag

Lenders verify your income data supplied with what is held on the fraud prevention agency files from your previous applications (to other lenders).

If you quote the same employer, position, and a much higher salary, or there has been a significant increase in your salary, then that will be flagged up and you will be asked to submit pay slips, P60's, etc.

If you cannot provide such evidence, the lender may suspect there are 'material falsehoods' in your application and mark your credit file as such, ie with a CIFAS 'Application Fraud' marker.
