What kind of Nonstick Pan is safe to use?

  • If you want a non stick coating then go for one which is PFOA and PTFE free.

    Stainless steel, ceramic or cast iron would be best in your list as far as health safety goes.

    At the risk of stating the obvious, some of those aren't non stick.

    Edit - the issue (if there is one) is with the non stick surface itself and the base it's on is a matter of personal preference. I have a couple of non stick frying pans in the cupboard, but I wouldn't buy another one. I like stainless steel pans and cast iron (like Le Creuset). Good stainless steel pans will last a lifetime and clean up beautifully. I quite fancy a nonstick ceramic frying pan, but would look into it's pros and cons first.
