Has anyone been up this? I really want to do it when I go, but have no idea if i'll fit up there :rotfl:
Apparently at the top is very narrow? I have no worries about fitness & have read people with rucksacks on their backs get up there without taking them off, so think I should be ok, but is it something I can try & if it's too narrow just come back down?
I did read a 6ft 1/18st guy went up & was ok but i'm probably a lot shorter & rounder. (Assuming if people have rucksacks on their backs & don't remove them is true, i'm not that wide front to back lol)
I'm also guessing maybe not so many overweight people go up so maybe nobody knows, but I 100% want to do this

I've been up and I don't recall it being particularly narrow, but it was 20 years ago so I might have forgotten. You could watch the film In Bruges (but only if you don't mind world class swearing!) as there is an important scene set in the tower so it might give an indication of what it's like in the stairway.0

Brendan Gleeson isn't exactly a pint-sized chap, so if he got up there it can't be too bad.
I have been up there and although I can't really remember how narrow it was I didn't have any problems (I'm 6'2" and medium build).Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0
