Fitted Bedroom recommendations

We will shortly be embarking on decorating/renovating our bedroom. It has fitted wardrobes which look like they originate from the 1980's and are of poor construction - so nothing re-usable there!
We have considered doing it ourselves and did look at the IKEA wardrobes, but also wanted fitted dressing table/drawers etc. We wanted to get some quotes, but wanted to avoid wasting our time with the 'more problematic' companies. Has anyone had a bedroom fitted recently and would recommend a company (or advise those to avoid). We live on the border of South East London/Kent.
