We only have an icing sugar dusting Dangers but it's enough to close us - a lot of our kids come in on coaches from the New Forest and the roads there are awful when its ice/snow, so we just need a tiny bit and we're closed

So, it's the first day of a new month and I have unexpected time to myself, even more so as ds is now doing 4 hours overtime (2-6) this afternoon, he can walk to work so all is good :T

I will spend some of the day making sure the banking is all set up for the new month, in fact I can go and update my signature with the next instalment of my brothers fund from this months wages

Snow day part 2: I managed a lie-in, I've reached my swagbucks goal already, ds has gone off to work - they are doing 12-3 today and providing pizza for lunch

My plan is to mooch about a bit, do some housework, maybe some school work and generally enjoy it! I've taken some lamb out of the freezer and we'll have a lamb and apricot stew tonight done in the slow cooker

Morning all, so now it's the weekend

Today's plans involve some revision for ds, some school work for me, a bit more pottering indoors, going to a friends to collect ds's xbox (was confiscated a while ago). I've already reached my swagbucks goal :j so don't need to worry about that for today.

So it's been a very productive morning so far in my house; one load of washing done, dishwasher loaded and on, kitchen tidied and cleaned, all rubbish / recycling out, all rooms tidied, hoovered through, clean washing put away, ds has tidied his room :T, ds has had his bath, bathroom cleaned

The snow / ice is melting away this morning, the sun is out and things are getting back to normal. I still won't drive in it yet, I just don't see the point if there is a risk of ice.

I did a tesco order last night which is being delivered on tuesday after school. I do need to pick up a few bits and pieces today but no worries if the shops are empty, I'll manage
