He should pass his Maths, he has already passed an IT qualification last year, but other than that it's the unknown ...
& at the end of the day it really does not matter.
You love him & that's the most important thing:A
Far far too much pressure on young people these days I am afraid & so what if they dont fit into the 'boxes' the school wants them to be in.

De-lurking to echo Beanie's sentiments. You and your son have done brilliantly to get through school, sit some exams and do his p/t job. You've had some worries and challenges along the way but you've dealt with it all. I hope you are both pleased with the results tomorrow.0

So, the results are in ....
Maths: 5
Science: 5 & 5
English Lang: 4
Computing: 4
English Lit: 3
French: 1
I'm so, so, so happy!! French we knew was a no-go, English Lit is pretty impressive considering one exam was a total disaster, so he actually did alright based on the second paper. But to have got all 4/5's in the others is so much better than hoped for. (A 4 is a low C, a 5 is a C/B). He also has ECDL that he passed last year (GCSE equivalent qualification), so he has 6 GCSE passes :j :j We are both super-duper happyOff out for lunch with Mum to celebrate :T :T
Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Congratulations!
I'm so proud of him!

That's so good to read. What an achievement.
I know the headlines are all made up of children achieving masses of A* grades and that's fair enough but the real achievements also lie in the young people who achieve to the best of their ability and often beyond expectations.0 -

We've had a lovely few days, spent mainly with Mr S
We've been to the beach a couple of times, been on a long walk with the dog, watched lots of footie, had a bbq and generally chilled over the bank holiday
