This is unnecessary scare mongeringWell considering that you need to tell them about any insurable losses you incur even if you don't make a claim'......
So really you should be happy that you have got away with not telling them and having a potential increase in your premium.
Contents insurance policyholders don't have to report every loss!
(Otherwise we'd have to report every glass that got broken)0
