I'll look into it .

Hello AC. You're inspiring me on the gym visits and smoothie drinks, although I do really enjoy smoothies so wouldn't be as difficult for me having those. Finding the time to prepare them is my weak point as I'm up at 5am and out of the house at 5:38am! Yes, very specific on that!
Good luck with the job hunting. It is a bit of a jungle out there still, and probably more so outside of London.
I hope you've had a great weekend.0 -
Thanks MT
Very precise about when you're out of the door in the morning . I used to leave at 5.45/ 6.15 depending on what shift I was on .
Slightly better nights sleep last night . I think I know why my sleeping pattern has been all over the place . It's probably the reduction in prednisolone 2 weeks ago to 1 mg . As the prednisolone has been replacing my cortisone for a few years , my body is slowly getting it back . In Feb / March I intend to go to 0.5 mg and March / April I intend to finish it for good . That's the plan anyway .
I had a great session with Mr Trainer today , and he seems impressed with my determination and effort. Being called things like "machine" and "beast " is complimentary I guess .
People still move out of the way a lot when they see me . I did ask if mr trainer could get some green paint for me next week .
Things are happening in my block . The guy upstairs is still doing up his flat , probably to sell . The lady on the corner still has her flat for sale . However what surprised me lately , is the family opposite .
They lived in the 3 bed maisonette opposite and the lady upstairs ( now gone) , was close to the one of the lady's opposite .
Last week , I saw the neighbour at the corner hugging the lady opposite and she looked tearful . There seems to be some sort of link there. So, on Saturday I saw an estate agent standing outside the maissonnette. I looked on right move . It's advertised to let at £950 pcm. No wonder the alarm was going off randomly . They must've left around Christmas time . There have been a lot of changes in the short time I have been here , it seems .
I finally got my finger out and started getting to grips with my Synthesizer . I turned on my Mac expecting to use it . Then there were a few updates to install , including the recording program I use for recording stuff . It's fairly complex and I will start using it properly now ..0 -
So, I still haven't heard anything from reactive, the people I chose to service my central heating. I phoned on my mobile phone ,and after pressing the option keys and just beginning to talk to someone ..they cut me off! Annoying .
They have great feedback on trust pilot .
I just posted something on the energy forum . Not sure if that was the exact place , but I may get advice . I have paid £105 .36 so far for nothing . The cotract ends on 29 June . I'm paying £17.56 pm
The initially rejected me because of my credit rating, but they told me they do different types of credit checks and I was accepted. Not sure if this is relevant .
What a miserable day out there . Rain tomorrow apparently. It will be getting colder also ..
I still don't feel too miserable though.0 -
Perhaps you should leave a review on Trustpilot.
Social media is always good for getting companies moving, especially Twitter, because unlike on Facebook, they can't delete your post if they don't like it! It's worth signing up to Twitter if you're not already, just to use it to make contact when you're getting no luck elsewhere.
What you do, is find out their name on Twitter, so it might be for instance @Reactive, then write a tweet along the lines of "Been trying to get @Reactive to sort out my heating, as per our contract, but keep getting fobbed off. Not happy." Make sure you include their Twitter name so they and other people, see it.
It usually gets things moving, because it doesn't look good to have people complaining where millions of others can see it.
Haha, we just got some Aunt Bessies vouchers, because husband complained that their frozen parsnips have got much smaller. He didn't even copy them in, he was just having a moan to his mates on there, but they must search for their name, so they saw it.
It's definitely worth a try. Have a look on Reactive's website to see what social media they post on.0 -
Agree with Ginger's idea to contact them on Twitter, lots of companies have dedicated teams to deal with social media complaints and it's often a faster resolution than the official customer services. I ended up tweeting Better Leisure in desperation because I spent almost a month getting fobbed off by customer services when I was trying to cancel gym contract. Their social media people had it sorted by the next day!0

Oh, and Barclays also search for their name being mentioned. <Waves to Barclays>
Husband was given an old clock radio alarm by a friend who'd been clearing out his late father's house. It had been a freebie from the bank, so when hubbie tweeted about it, they got in touch with him and asked for our address so they could send us something. They sent us a wind up/solar/battery radio with a torch built in! It's really good, and the torch is very bright. Thought that was really nice of them, (and obviously good public relations!) and the radio is used regularly, as it's small, so we move it to whatever room we want it. It's currently in the bathroom.0 -
Thanks for your suggestions gigervamp & Georgina
It's true what you say about anti social media . I sent a complaint to M&S on their Facebook homepage and got a £10 voucher ,some time ago .
I am a member of trustpilot , through when I stayed at a cool b&b here in Poole when I used to visit . I left good review . Since then , I got inundated with the multiple emails you expect afterwords.
Before I leave a review on there, I'm still in a slight quandary .
That being, the engineer eventually turns up and says I will need a powerflush . That will obviously cost me, as it's not covered.
James has said that he could replace the two rads and it won't cost as much . Reactive may compensate me for their ghost like behaviour .
What do you think ?0 -
I think you should register on the central heating section of this site and ask the question. You will need to be precise about what you have got in terms of the boiler and system and what is wrong.
https://www.ukplumbersforums.co.uk
So it needs a powerflush which isn't covered by your policy, how convenient...but is it true, and whilst James may replace the 2 radiators are they the problem?0 -
Hi harz
Thanks for that . I've obviously done the in my home section here.
It seems that a powerflush is what's needed judging from the comments I've received. The engineer who I did speak to( but never followed up ) , did say that it sounds like a powerflush .
It's annoying as the boiler was fixed twice since I moved in .
Once from a local co that inspected it before I moved in to my home ,and another company Giles heating who pointed me in the direction of reactive .
I'll post on that link you gave me and let you know in due course..0
