I am thinking of buying a Sony Bravia TV from John Lewis it is a Sony KD49XE7003 then I read a post on here to buy from Very and get a first time buyer discount of 20% but the TV Very has is a Sony KD49XE7002.
Does anyone know the significance of the digit change?

I suggest you check carefully yourself, but at a quick glance the only difference I can see is that the 7002 has 'Motionflow™ XR 100Hz (Native 50Hz)', whereas the 7003 has 'Motionflow™ XR 200Hz (Native 50Hz)'.Stompa0 -
I wouldn't buy from Very. For a start, John Lewis give you a 5-year warranty.0

The point of buying from Very as a first order is that you can save over £100 on this TV but it does come with the standard 1 year cover rather than 5 years. Thats the £100 gamble but in the last 12 years I have not had a TV fail. You could of course go to RickerSounds for a 6 year cover.0

If you use Topcashback I think you will get another 2% off at Very. Worth using Topcashback for big purchases ..0
