Vent : Virgin New apps are cr(app)

Virgin have just forced users to use two new apps (TV remote and TV go) in place of the Virgin TV anywhere app.

I have been using the TV anywhere app on my phone (and previously my Kindle) to watch shows that had been recorded on my TiVo box whilst other family members watched something else on tv.

I'd also just set up my in Laws two tablets to watch live tv using the app (less than two weeks ago).

Just had a brand new tablet for Xmas so I downloaded the new apps and although you can watch live tv on a tablet using the TV Go app, it appears you can no longer watch your TiVo recordings on any other devices unless you pay to upgrade to a V6 box.

So I'm expected to pay more to get back the features Virgin have taken away?

I can connect to my TiVo box using the VM TV remote app, but I also have a V6 I'll disconnect that from the setup and see if I can still connect to the TiVo.

Yup that's bad so it seems you can only watch using a V6.
