Travel Inn room occupancy help

may of been a bit foolish trying to save a few pennies

have booked a family room at a premier travel inn (had one with the kids before was huge) however plan to sleep 4 adults in there is this a bit dodgy?

has anyone done this before, am sure people do it at travelodges all the time, just be my luck to get caught though!

I have a friend who does this all the time. Just don't all pile in to check in be a little discreet-and don't ask for two extra room keys :)
So long as you aren't "challenging guests" they won't care-but if you are disruptive or noisy it gives them a good excuse to get rid of you

I used to work at the TI in Nottingham City Centre, and strictly speaking only three adults are allowed to a room.

On a weeknight, people would get away with it, but on Friday and Saturday nights there tended to be a more senior manager on shift, and they would not allow people to do it.

There is a reason for them enforcing the rule - if an incident was to occur in the hotel and the over occupancy was discovered, the insurance for the whole hotel (not just the four guests) would be invalidated.

Also, if it is a weekend night in a popular location, the hotel is likely to have additional security on. It will be them that 'ask' you to leave, or to purchase another room.

Up to you if you want to take the risk.
